An elite soldier from Elingor, skilled in both sword-play and minor sorcery, Ranley accompanied Daxia as one of her lieutenants in her attempt to track down Korwyn Valamir. He was wounded in battle against Morvior the Malignant, in an abandoned tomb near Riddlebeck.

Although surviving the encounter with the Cult of the Goat, Ranley appeared to succumb to his wounds later that evening while resting in the Riddlebeck Arms.
