Culain's current character sheet

Culain was separated from his parents at birth, and taken to train as a Paladin of Ardona, the Goddess of Justice. He spent his formative years at the Grand Temple in the capital city of Ardonia, where he learnt the doctrine of the Goddess and to fight alongside other initiates. He became disillusioned with the callousness and intolerance of the church, however, and fled the temple and the city just days before his 18th birthday, when he was due to be fully ordained as a Paladin.

Culain headed east to the forest of Arabor, where he met the Druid Danril Eridrith, who took him under his wing and taught him much about nature and the forest. Culain shared Danril's forest home, and they were both on good terms with the Elves of the region, especially Elodor Dy'nesh and his family, in the Elven village of Loralei.

Culain bore a magical branding upon his forehead, which showed a golden, blazing sun. This was the half completed holy symbol of Ardona - the full symbol shows a sword held aloft before the sun. This full symbol is displayed proudly by Paladins of Ardona, and is awarded to a Paladin upon their 18th birthday, during the ceremony to mark their ascension to the rank of a full Paladin. The half symbol marked Culain as a traitor and deserter.

Culain and Danril travelled briefly with Ariala Dy'nesh and Drakus Brayden, before becoming separated. They joined forces with the Wyvern's Talon to repel the Orc invasion of Riddlebeck, before ultimately being slain by Garrash, the Orc leader, who had wrested control of the nearby fortress.
