This magical longsword was discovered in a tomb, around a day's travel from the village of North Meadow, believed to be the final resting place of one Faramund Bloodspiller. It provides a +1 Enhancement bonus to attack and damage rolls. It bears an inscription in an unknown script, which was translated by Valyn Malkeenian by use of a Comprehend Languages spell, on 3rd Kilahar 1425. The inscription was found to read thus:
“For Faramund, always my most loyal of ‘Brutes’. Strike true always. SH.”
It was identified by Kaldir Ratharin on 4th Kilahar 1425, by use of an Identify spell.
